Major functions of the office takes charge of Taipei County , Taoyuan county and Hsinchu County's ( other than Keelung City and Hsinchu City ) provincial roads and county roads newly-built improvement works ( its provincial roads mileage of 636 km , county roads of 647 km , the total of 1,283 km ).
